A permalink is simply a URL that points to a specific blog or forum entry after it has passed from the front page to the archives.

For example, instead of sending you to http://jimmyadames.com and have you look for an entry I will point you directly to it by giving you something like this for the latest entry: http://jimmyadames.com/affiliate-marketing-tips-5-product-recommendation-mistakes-affilate-marketers-make/

Putting the HTML code for the carnival on your blog can’t hurt, because quality inbound and outbound links helps with your search engine rankings.

Hi Jimmy, I read your article on twitter and just joined it not to long ago. It just shows that not everyone is tuned into what you might Know all ready. Its getting yourself out there that seems to be the biggest task.Getting seen by some one and educating them a little.
I have one question when I signed up for carnaval it asked me for a permalink. Is that something I make up?
Like when I receive an e-mail from them your permalink shows up and all I have to do is click on it. I put the html code for carnival on my blog but I don’t know if that is a good Idea?
