It’s already tough enough to earn income using the Internet, but if you do things the right way there is no way you can’t succeed.  Unfortunately, so many people do things the wrong way it is hard to dispute why most people fail making money online at a much higher rate than those who succeed.

What are the wrong ways to fail?  Well, there are many but today I’m covering 3 approaches that are obviously wrong but most people don’t realize they are doing it, so here are:

1. Know your place – whenever you are promoting your business it is imperative you know how to advertise on the platform you are on.  For example, if you are on a social networking site the last thing you want to do is puke your opportunity to everyone that either adds you as a friend or offers their friendship.  When you meet someone off line do you instantly pitch your business?  I didn’t think so.

2. Know me first – if you took time to read my bio there would be no reason why I would be interested in your business opportunity when I’m already involved in one unless our businesses can compliment each other.  It’s like trying to sell ice to Eskimoes!  You have to be aware of the platform you are on before you want to approach an audience with your sales message.  It is so much easier to know who they are so you can tailor your approach accordingly.

3. Know you - before beating people over the head with your opportunity, please let us know who the heck you are.  In a sea of experts, gurus and know it alls why would we consider your biz opp before someone who is familiar to the masses already?  You have to stand out from the crowd and brand yourself before you can convince people to spend their money with you so let us get to know you first!

That’s right there was no secret, tactic or technique mentioned above it’s just pure common sense.  Making money online is more than just throwing up an ad and crossing your fingers you make a sale or two but if you can work on the human aspect of things there is a strong chance you will make more than a few sales.
