Hi Jimmy

Thanks for the kind words. Traffic exchanges are a great source of free or low cost traffic. They are really good for getting subscribers to ones' lists. Unfortunately. many try direct selling using company affiliate pages.

Like your are doing....it's best to get people to subscribe to your list and then try selling to them.

Excellent blog Jimmy!

Cheers!

Thanks David for passing by and leaving us your thoughts. I truly appreciate it.

I don't agree with you, because I've heard and used the same lame excuses but we are entitled to our opinions that is why social platforms kick ass.

I've mentioned in my posts if you are promoting anything outside of Internet and Network marketing on traffic exchanges you are probably going to fail.

To say that for every one person successful with TE's a thousand haven't made a penny or capture a name is outrageous.

So your argument is that everyone who writes articles, uses Google Adwords or Adsense, participates in forums, or any other advertising or marketing platform succeeds? Everyone?

The bottom line is - if you DO NOT test, track, use splash pages and brand yourself instead of promoting affiliate sales pages at a TE you are doomed.

Guess what? That goes for anything you use to promote your product and service and I'm sure you know that.

If you go into traffic exchanges expecting everyone and their mother to sign up to your program then you will definitely suck at using TE's.

Creating your own product or service is something everyone should aspire to but no one goes into this business with that luxury. There is a learning curve.

Now, don't hate the TE owners for making money. Why the heck would they own traffic exchanges in the first place? That's a cop out.

Don't get me wrong, I believe if you are going to rely solely on traffic exchanges you may have a tough time in this business but it's undoubtedly an excellent source to build a list and brand you and/or your biz so it's foolish not to use them if you are in the Internet & Network marketing niches.

By the way, people surfing traffic exchanges wouldn't be buying what the Donald is selling and it's safe to say he is smart enough to know that.

I have given up on Traffic Exchanges and consider them a waste of valuable time.

From my experiences, I found almost all web sites in the exchanges were network marketing or affiliate type programs. Very quickly I ignored everything and ran multiple TE browser windows just to collect my credits.

After awhile I realized everyone is singing the same song. I don't want to get in your deal, I want you to get in mine.

For every person who raises their hand and says they're successful with TE, there are a thousand who haven't made a penny or captured one name.

I think to be successful with TE, you have to create a unique product or service that could not be copied without fear of infringement. If your product or service is remotely familiar to what's currently being displayed in TE, you will fail.

On the other hand, if you own a TE, you are making a fortune! It's sort of like the California Gold Rush. While everyone was trying to find their pot of gold, the people who made the real money were the ones selling the picks and shovels. TE owners sell upgraded memberships.

In the end I thought to myself, "If Donald Trump had to start over, would he use Traffic Exchanges?"
