Traffic Exchange Marketing – What About Banners?

Yesterday I listed 5 ways maximum exposure can get you clicks at traffic exchanges, but there was one way I wanted to add but decided to write a stand alone entry for it today.  Banner marketing is definitely not as effective as it was back in the day, but they are still being used and if you can stand out from the crowd it is definitely worth using them especially since you are getting free banner impressions.

Here is the link to yesterday’s post if you missed it:

Traffic Exchange Marketing – Discover 5 Surefire Ways Maximum Exposure Will Lead To Clicks

In my experience I have seen a higher rate of clicks on my banner using a photo on it, but not enough to run out and scream “banner marketing rocks!” and it will not guarantee a massive amount of conversion or anything close to it.

There is one thing thing having a banner with your photo on it does and that is give you consistent exposure.  At the very least if you can have a banner that is unique and not one that hundreds of affiliates are using you can succeed with it if you brand it correctly.  It has to stand out and it must be identifiable to you, your business or message.

Here is a snapshot of  a banner I’m using for one of my campaigns – FREE Viral Traffic Automation Guide:

It not only has my photo, but it also has my name.  Now, I’m working on having this banner rotate in as many places as possible and I have a lot to go so I’m sure you will eventually run across it often which is what you should be doing with your banners.

I used AdKreator to create the banner myself which allows me to make unique banners, lead capture and splash pages:

Banners are a very very good way of branding and often forgotten about.

It is amazing how many people have accounts at traffic exchanges with banner impressions that are not being used.

Its worth the small effort of making a banner using that banner creator or at least banging a banner in for another Traffic Exchange to help build your downlines.

Great job with a branding banner and photo on it, Its definatly the way to go :)

    Hi Steve.

First of all, I am honored to have you not only visit my blog but to have left a comment. I know you are one of the pioneers in the traffic exchange marketing arena, so I appreciate your visit.

I’m glad you agree with me regarding the effect a banner can have on your branding at the traffic exchanges. Just many of the things people fail to do to get the best use out of TE’s.
